JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Columbus seeks a Java backend engineer to design and maintain scalable microservices on AWS. You will build Spring Boot services with REST APIs and collaborate with product owners to turn requirements into technical solutions.

Required: 3+ years Java, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, React/TypeScript familiarity, and Agile delivery in finance. Competitive salary and benefits are offered in a major financial services firm.

Competenze

• At least 3 years of Java development experience, including Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker, including responsibility for deployments.
• AWS experience with services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience delivering work in an Agile or Scrum team.
• Working knowledge of React and TypeScript.
• AWS certification is an advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, is an advantage.
• Financial services experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Kafka or messaging queues is an advantage.

Mansioni

• Build and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices deployed on AWS EKS.
• Lead backend development from design through production deployment.
• Contribute to our React and TypeScript user interface as needed.
• Work with product owners and stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions.
