Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years Java development; Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices.
• Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker experience owning deployments.
• AWS experience — EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch at minimum.
• Proven ability to engage and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience in a team environment.
• React and TypeScript — working knowledge sufficient.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices deployed on AWS EKS.
• Own backend development end-to-end — from design through production deployment.
• Contribute to React/TypeScript UI where needed.
• Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards across the team.
