Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Jersey City seeks a Java-AWS Full stack Engineer to build and maintain backend microservices on AWS EKS. You will own backend development end-to-end, contribute to UI where needed, and work with product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.

The role involves Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and upholding engineering standards across the team. Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Java development; Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices.
• Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker experience owning deployments.
• AWS experience — EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch at minimum.
• Proven ability to engage and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience in a team environment.
• React and TypeScript — working knowledge sufficient.
