Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, security, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to lead technical decisions, mentor developers, and uphold code quality.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and Kafka; familiarity with DevOps tools.
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile practices, CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Experience with cloud, AI/ML, mobile, or related technical disciplines.
• Knowledge of financial services IT systems; cloud-native experience preferred.
• Prefer frontend React or similar technologies; interest in LLM-driven workflows.
