Job summary

Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor, seeks a seasoned IT Project Manager to drive complex software development and discovery initiatives. The role focuses on delivering projects on time and within budget, coordinating cross-functional teams, and applying agile and PMI practices.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of related experience, with certifications in Agile or PMI preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience managing software development or software implementation projects.
• Experience leading at least one software discovery or software selection project.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs multiple projects to meet business requirements, including scope, timelines, budgets, and risk plans.
• Coordinates activities across internal and external resources to ensure on-time delivery within budget.
• Manages project budgets and resources.
• Applies Johnstone’s Project Management methodology with tools like MS Project, Monday.com, Jira, and Confluence.
• Manages risks/escalations and communicates status to stakeholders and sponsors.
• Leads retrospectives and drives continuous improvement in processes.
