Job summary

Johnstone Supply, North America's leading wholesale distributor of HVACR equipment, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead complex software-related initiatives. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners, drive timelines and budgets, and apply PM methodologies to ensure successful delivery.

The role emphasizes stakeholder communication, risk management, and continuous improvement within IT Portfolio Management and the E-PMO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university with 7+ years of related experience.
• PMI/Agile certification preferred but not required.
• Experience managing software development or software implementation.
• Experience managing at least one software discovery or software selection project.
• Ability to establish objectives, timelines, and deadlines; plan actions to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct multiple projects to meet business requirements and budgets.
• Coordinate activities across internal and external resources to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage project budgets and resource needs.
• Apply Johnstone’s PM methodology and tools to monitor progress.
• Manage risks/escalations and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Provide regular reporting to project sponsors and IT portfolios.
• Lead lessons-learned sessions and drive process improvements.
• Document and enforce department processes.
