Job summary

Garmin Ltd. is seeking a full-time Lead Project Manager IT for its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. The role leads very large, complex programs across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The position requires guiding teams, mentoring IT analysts, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation while communicating status to executives and business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of relevant experience required.
• Ability to talk technically with managers, architects and contributors.
• Masters PM principles and adapt practices to changing business needs.
• Proven track record delivering technology solutions successfully.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail oriented, organized, proactive, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Motivates and drives accountability to project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Provides project management guidance across teams.
• Delivers project status and summaries to all levels, including executives.
• Identifies interdependencies and guides PM processes and procedures.
• Develops and maintains all project documentation.
• Mentors less experienced IT Project Analysts and coordinates resources across projects.
