Garmin is seeking a full-time Project Manager Operations - Construction at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will manage moderately complex construction projects, coordinate across Garmin teams, and may lead smaller projects while ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design, facilities, and external partners, with a strong focus on documentation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Applies project management skills to moderately complex projects with milestones and timelines.
• Provisions documentation of project scope, requirements, objectives, costs, and timing.
• Leads meetings, informs stakeholders, and communicates tradeoffs for progress.
• Maintains complex timelines and milestone tracking.
• Applies risk management to identify schedule risks.
• Drives project progress and escalates issues as needed.
• May lead small to mid-size projects.
• Supports concept/new feature development with product domain knowledge.
• Develops reliable project reports and documentation.
• Builds relationships with Garmin teams, customers and suppliers.
• Participates in design reviews and process improvements.
• Provides root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Demonstrates use of standards and tools for PM and product segment.
• Communicates with customers, negotiates targets.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers (Project Manager 1).
