Job summary

Garmin Ltd. seeks a full-time Project Manager Operations - Construction at its U.S. headquarters in the Kansas City area. You will manage moderately complex construction and facilities projects, coordinating between project teams and other departments, and may lead smaller projects as needed.

You will develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and milestone tracking while ensuring documentation and stakeholder alignment. A strong PM background and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Engineering or related field, plus 2 years PM experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication across departments.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
• Willingness to learn, be proactive, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Applies project management skills on moderately complex projects or tasks, including milestones, timelines, and decisions.
• Provisions detailed project scope with assumptions, requirements, objectives, costs, and timing.
• Leads effective team meetings and communicates tradeoffs to drive progress.
• Maintains complex timelines and milestone tracking.
• Applies risk management to identify and mitigate schedule risks.
• Drives project progress and escalates issues as needed.
• May lead small to mid-size projects as a project leader.
• Supports product concept and feature development efforts.
• Delivers clear project documentation and reporting.
