Thurston County is seeking an IT Applications Supervisor in Olympia to lead the nine-member Applications Team. You will plan, organize, and manage software installation, maintenance, and operation for complex applications, while aligning with departmental goals and customer needs.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, training, and ensuring data security and disaster recovery readiness. Telework may be available after probation; regular hours apply with occasional extended schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information, business administration, GIS or related field.
• Experience leading an IT applications team and managing budgets.
• Strong knowledge of software development, databases, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead applications team operations within budget and resources.
• Plan, organize, and manage installation, maintenance and operation of software applications.
