Thurston County is seeking an IT Applications Supervisor to lead a nine-member Applications Team in the Information Technology Department. The role focuses on planning, implementing, maintaining, and supporting critical software applications across County operations.

The supervisor will coordinate projects, manage budgets, and ensure reliable services, disaster recovery, and security across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Progressive supervisory experience is required.
• Experience with IT applications, systems, and data management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage applications team operations within budget and personnel limits.
• Plan and organize workloads, assign staff, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Develop and monitor department budget and resource requirements.
• Provide technical guidance on systems, software, and data security.
• Lead data management initiatives and inventory of data assets.
