Environmental Management Inc. in Plain City, OH, is seeking an experienced Landscape Irrigation Installation Crew Leader to oversee irrigation installations for residential, commercial, and municipal projects.

This hands-on role requires leading crews, coordinating daily field activities, and ensuring safety and quality workmanship. You will work closely with foremen, superintendents, and clients to deliver projects on schedule while maintaining water-efficient practices and high standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of irrigation installation experience required.
• Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and components, including Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro products.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, irrigation plans, and construction documents.
• Working knowledge of irrigation controller programming and wiring.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to operate construction and landscape equipment safely.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
• Irrigation certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise irrigation installation crew members on assigned projects.
• Delegate tasks and monitor crew productivity to keep projects on schedule.
• Train and mentor crew on installation techniques, safety, and standards.
• Coordinate daily activities with Superintendents, Foremen, and other field teams.
• Read and interpret irrigation plans, blueprints, specs, and site layouts.
• Install irrigation systems including mainlines, laterals, valves, sprinklers, drip, controllers, backflow devices.
• Perform trenching, pipe installation, wiring, and system assembly.
• Ensure installations meet project specs and standards.
