Job summary

Environmental Management Inc. in Central Ohio is seeking an Irrigation Installation Technician to install, maintain, and support underground irrigation systems for residential and commercial clients.

The role reports to Landscape Project Managers and the Operations Manager, ensuring installations meet safety, efficiency, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has irrigation installation or related field experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor

Qualifications

• Experience in irrigation installation, landscaping, construction, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems, electrical wiring, controllers, valves, and sprinkler components.
• Ability to read blueprints, layouts, and project specifications.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Install underground irrigation systems, including piping, valves, sprinkler heads, controllers, and related components.
• Read and interpret irrigation plans, layouts, and project specifications.
• Coordinate daily work activities with Project Managers and Crew Leaders.
• Perform trenching, pipe installation, wiring, and system testing.
• Troubleshoot irrigation system issues and assist with repairs as needed.
• Complete daily paperwork including timesheets, field reports, work orders, and service documentation.
