Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Lead Inventory Coordinator based onsite in Middle River, MD. You will support production targets, manage inbound/outbound logistics, and ensure DIFOT for production kits and components.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong inventory controls, and ITAR compliance. You will work with the Supply Chain team to optimize throughput, maintain stock accuracy, and drive continuous improvements while ensuring safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Inventory / Supply Chain experience with a High School Diploma.
• Ability to work independently on complex duties under supervision.
• Exposure to ITAR regulations.
• IATA/IMDG knowledge required.
• Strong IT knowledge and Windows experience.
• Experience with a fully integrated ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Open orders and Fast Track Rush Orders.
• Ensure Throughput KPI’s are met.
• Provide Daily direction and support for Store Persons.
• Support inbound and outbound logistics as needed.
• Ensure on-time delivery of components and production kits.
• Coordinate daily/weekly kitting to maintain DIFOT and stock rotation.
• Escalate kitting issues and liaise with production and logistics teams.
