Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Lead Inventory Coordinator to drive inbound throughput and accurate outbound DIFOT from its Middle River, MD facility. The role focuses on supporting production teams, managing stock, and coordinating warehousing activities on a just-in-time basis.

Lead responsibilities include overseeing store personnel, optimizing kitting, and ensuring compliance with Rocket Lab's SOPs and document management systems, while maintaining a high level of customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Inventory / Supply Chain experience with a High School Diploma.
• Ability to work independently to perform a wide range of complex duties under general guidance.
• Exposure to ITAR and international shipping regulations.
• Knowledge of IATA/IMDG.
• Strong IT skills and experience with Windows.
• Experience with a fully integrated ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Open orders and Fast Track Rush Orders.
• Ensure Throughput KPIs are met.
• Provide Daily Direction and support for Store Persons.
• Strong customer focus for any walk ups.
• Support inwards goods as needed.
• Support outbound logistics as needed.
• Ensure on time Delivery of components and Production kits.
• Coordinate daily and weekly Kitting resources to achieve DIFOT.
• First escalation point for kitting issues.
• Liaison support for Production leads and other Rocket Lab sites.
