Job summary

Truist's Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) Audit team in Raleigh, NC seeks an Audit Manager to lead high-risk, complex internal audits and provide advisory services. You will coach junior staff and ensure delivery of quality assurance within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting or related field, 6–8 years in banking/audit, and strong risk management, analytical, and communication skills. A 125k–150k USD annual salary with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or related field or equivalent education and training.
• Six to eight years of banking, auditing or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of audit and banking/financial services concepts.
• Strong risk management and process understanding.
• Excellent analytical, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate root causes and solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engagement Manager for high-risk, complex audits with test planning and scoping.
• Allocate resources and manage schedules to stay within budget.
• Draft meaningful audit reports aligned with risk appetite framework.
• Identify substantive issues and provide practical solutions.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and provide training.
• Challenge with deep subject matter knowledge to support partnerships.
• Oversee timely delivery of audits, projects and special assignments.
