Job summary

HOK's Boston office is seeking an Architect to join our expanding Interiors practice. This role requires independent judgment in evaluating and applying standard techniques, with responsibility for guiding design solutions and achieving project goals.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior architecture, 5+ years of interiors-focused experience, and a current architecture license. HOK emphasizes collaborative work, sustainability, and BIM-driven documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior architecture required.
• 5+ years interiors-focused architectural experience.
• Licensed Architect with current registration in your region required.
• NCARB registration preferred.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in planning work and developing solutions to design problems.
• Prepare client presentations and present design concepts.
• Ensure QA/QC and BIM standards are followed.
• Mentor and direct work of less experienced staff.
• Coordinate with Project Leadership Team and other disciplines.
• Communicate with clients and attend site visits and meetings.
