Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Integrated Solutions Applications Engineer to design and own the integrated solutions architecture for power systems, including SLDs integrating with EMS, batteries, and grid hardware. You will lead cross-functional teams, validate performance, and support customer engagements to de-risk complex deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or power systems engineering from an accredited university.
• At least 5 years of professional engineering, product management or related experience.
• 3+ years delivering projects on-time and on-budget.
• 3+ years of gas turbine/combined-cycle/turbomachinery experience with performance and upgrade insights.
• Willingness to travel a minimum of 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Design integrated solutions architecture and develop maintenance of SLDS across GE Vernova systems.
• Evaluate design architectures with focus on performance and reliability through studies and simulations.
• Define equipment LCOE and operational interfaces for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead onsite generation report definitions and support customer meetings with final submittals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Consulting Services and GE Vernova units to grow power systems capabilities.
• Understand and interpret heavy duty turbines to inform system design and optimization.
• Standardize reference architectures for repeatable applications across projects.
