Job summary

USA Insulation is seeking a Head Insulation Technician to lead the crew on job sites, running injection foam wall work, attic insulation, and crawlspace projects. You will measure, prep, install, and ensure the job is done right the first time. This is not a desk role; you’ll be on-site, climbing, and working in attics and crawl spaces.

Training will be provided for the technical aspects. We value work ethic and dependability; experience helps, but the right person will be trained.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver's license required.
• Dependable and punctual with strong work ethic.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and leads when needed.
• Problem solving ability and practical thinking.
• Team player who can also lead as needed.
• Physically able to work in attics/crawlspaces and lift.
• Prior insulation or construction experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the crew on daily insulation jobs—wall injection foam, attic blown‑in, and crawlspace insulation.
• Assess each job site and determine the right approach and materials.
• Measure, prep, and install insulation to spec, sealing gaps and joints for efficiency.
• Operate and maintain injection rigs, blowers and equipment safely.
• Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe, reflecting the company.
• Follow all safety protocols and PPE usage on site.
• Train and mentor newer crew members as the team grows.
• Spot problems early and develop on‑the‑fly solutions.
