Job summary

USA Insulation Company, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Head Insulation Technician to lead the crew on the job site. You’ll run injection foam wall jobs, attic insulation, and crawlspace work, measuring, prepping, installing, and ensuring quality first time.

This isn’t a desk job; you’re on your feet in attics and crawlspaces with on-the-job training provided. This role emphasizes work ethic and dependability as we grow, with opportunities for advancement and a positive, collaborative team

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license is non-negotiable.
• Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Mature and level-headed with self-motivation.
• A real problem solver who thinks through situations.
• Physically able to lift and work in attics, crawlspaces, and tight spaces.
• Able to lead a crew and operate safely in field conditions.
• Prior insulation or construction experience is a plus, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the crew on daily insulation jobs — wall injection foam, attic blown-in, and crawlspace insulation.
• Assess each job site and determine the right approach and materials.
• Measure, prep, and install insulation to spec, sealing gaps and joints for maximum efficiency.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and correctly.
• Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all safety protocols and use PPE properly.
• Communicate with customers on-site professionally and confidently.
• Train and mentor newer crew members as the team grows.

Job Summary

The Head Insulation Technician leads the crew on the job site every day. You\'ll be running injection foam wall jobs, attic insulation, and crawlspace work — measuring, prepping, installing, and making sure the job is done right the first time. This isn\'t a desk job. You\'re on your feet, in attics, in crawlspaces, and on ladders. Experience is a plus, but we\'ll train the right person on the technical side. What we can\'t train is work ethic and dependability — that\'s on you.

What You\'ll Do

• Lead and coordinate the crew on daily insulation jobs — wall injection foam, attic blown-in, and crawlspace insulation
• Assess each job site and determine the right approach and materials for the space
• Measure, prep, and install insulation to spec, sealing gaps and joints for maximum efficiency
• Operate and maintain equipment (injection rigs, blowers, etc.) safely and correctly
• Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe — this is a reflection of our company
• Follow all safety protocols and use PPE properly, every time
• Communicate with customers on-site professionally — answer questions, explain the work, leave them confident in the job
• Train and mentor newer crew members as the team grows
• Spot problems before they become issues and figure out solutions on the fly
