Job summary

The Buffalo Sewer Authority seeks an experienced professional to design, coordinate, and integrate SCADA, PLCs and related process control systems. You will work with IT and security teams to ensure safe, compliant operation of complex instrumentation networks.

You will install, configure, and maintain equipment, develop P&ID diagrams, and monitor project timelines. Strong leadership and independent judgement are essential for success in a security-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree plus 3 years with SCADA/PLC systems in a security-sensitive environment.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years’ experience with SCADA/PLC systems.
• Associate’s degree plus 6 years’ experience with SCADA/PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate integration of SCADA, PLCs, and related process networks.
• Support IT security protocols in collaboration with IT and Security.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot process network equipment and systems.
• Develop and maintain Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s).
• Monitor project progress and ensure conformance with plans and timelines.
