Job summary

Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH seeks a Senior Instrumentation Coordinator to oversee daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and 2+ years experience as instrument processor or Surgical Technologist.
CRCST or CSPDT certification required on hire or within 6 months of hire.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Tecsys, and Censitrac tracking software.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Departments to facilitate efficient case flow and proper case cart assembly, decontamination, and sterilization of reprocessed surgical inventory.
Serve as a clinical liaison between ORs and CSS offsite locations to track and allocate sterilized instrumentation across the Enterprise.
Procure, standardize, and organize instrument trays across the Enterprise and support 24/7 reprocessing at multiple sites.
