Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Staff Registered Instrumentation & Controls Engineer for Nuclear Power to lead I&C design teams on advanced reactor projects. You will develop control narratives, I/O lists, P&IDs, and system specifications, and interface with procurement, planning, and project management to drive safety and reliability.

Hybrid work options apply after onboarding; you will mentor engineers, review deliverables, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required with 5+ years of related experience.
Active engineering registration/licensure to support BV projects; U.S. citizenship is required.
Requires ability to pass pre-employment onboarding/background checks.

Responsibilities

Develop engineering design documents for I&C systems (logic diagrams, I/O lists, instrument data sheets, control narratives, P&IDs, installation details, schematics) and procurement specs.
Lead teams, supervise, and mentor engineers; review work and provide guidance to project teams.
