Job summary

Motlow is seeking a full-time Lead Instructor in the Adult Education program at TCAT Athens, based in Hamilton County. The role focuses on providing classroom instruction to adults at various academic levels; this position is grant funded and requires a commitment of at least 37.5 hours per week in office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or subject area from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience.
• Ability to teach adults math, reading, science, and social studies for HiSET prep.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional process and monitor student progress; coordinate with testing staff for assessments.
• Administer pre- and post-TABE and CASAS tests after certified training.
• Facilitate new student orientations and manage attendance and scores.
• Develop courses with AE curriculum resources and align with DOE guidance.
• Support student job placement goals and post-secondary education plans.
