Job summary

Motlow is seeking an Associate Instructor in Adult Education for the Hamilton County area. The role involves delivering classroom instruction to adults at multiple levels, supporting HiSET/CASAS testing, and maintaining records.

The position is grant-funded and requires a commitment of at least 37.5 hours per week in the office, reporting to the Assistant Director. Responsibilities include curriculum development, student advisement, and collaboration with Workforce Coordinators to guide career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience.
• Ability to teach adults math, reading, science, and social studies for HiSET prep.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom instruction to adults at varying academic levels in Hamilton County.
• Coordinate with testing staff and schedule HiSET/CASAS assessments.
• Maintain attendance and student progress records and assist with student advising and career goals.
• Develop courses and remedial materials in alignment with AE curriculum and DoL guidance.
• Engage in professional development, meetings, and cross-department collaboration.
• Support recruitment and orientation of potential students and assist with job placement.
