Job summary

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Athens is seeking a full-time Lead Instructor in the Adult Education program in Hamilton County. The role focuses on providing classroom instruction to adults at various academic levels and is grant funded with a 37.5 hour work week; reports to the Assistant Director.

Responsibilities include instruction, testing coordination, curriculum development, and student advising to support post-secondary education or job placement goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn new software for data entry and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom instruction to adults at various levels.
• Coordinate with testing staff to schedule assessments and monitor progress.
• Develop courses of studies in collaboration with program instructors and Curriculum Coordinator.
