Job summary

Allentown School District seeks a Supervisor of Instructional Technology to lead district‑wide initiatives and coordinate instructional technology services for all students, teachers, and staff.

The ideal candidate will hold PA Instructional II and Supervisory/Principal certificates, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction or Instructional Technology, and at least 3 years of teaching experience, with proven ability to guide curriculum integration and train adult learners.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Pennsylvania Instructional II Certificate and Supervisory/Principal Certificate.
• Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
• Proven experience in leading and supervising instructional technology programs aligned to district goals.
• Experience guiding curriculum integration of digital tools and delivering educator PD.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology integration support for teachers and school teams.
• Lead development of virtual learning programs and Canvas-based courses.
• Coordinate and evaluate digital resources and instructional technology services.
• Supervise school-based IT staff and instructional technologists as assigned.
• Develop and deliver differentiated professional development for adult learners.
• Collaborate with Curriculum Supervisors to ensure alignment with instructional priorities.
