Job summary
Allentown School District is seeking an instructional technology leader to drive the district's strategic vision under the Director of Innovation and Instructional Technology. You will coordinate services for students, teachers, and staff, and lead a team of instructional technology specialists.
The role requires a Master's degree in a related field, PA certificates, and at least 3 years of teaching experience, with a proven ability to guide curriculum integration and professional development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in curriculum, instructional technology or related field.
- Current PA Instructional II and Supervisory/Principal certificates.
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
- Experience leading instructional technology programs aligned to district goals.
- Guiding curriculum integration of digital tools and educator PD.
- Experience coaching a team of instructional technology specialists.
- Strong understanding of technology integration and effective instruction.
- Knowledge of technology and computer science trends in education.
- Experience PD for adult learners and differentiating instruction.
- Ability to develop expertise in emerging technologies and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct instructional technology services across the district.
- Coordinate delivery of technology programs with supervisors and executives.
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for instructional technology.
- Collaborate with educators to align technology with instructional priorities.
