Job summary

CDW LLC seeks an experienced Lead Instructional Designer to drive complex learning and enablement initiatives, partnering with senior leaders to deliver programs that build leadership, selling, and technical skills.

You will lead program management from needs assessment through evaluation, mentor peers, and apply AI-enabled learning tools to improve efficiency, learner outcomes, and business impact across CDW’s organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years’ experience in instructional design or related field.
• Knowledge of learning technologies and AI-enabled development tools.
• Experience leading complex learning initiatives.
• Ability to lead multiple initiatives and meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead program management for complex learning and enablement initiatives from needs assessment through implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define business requirements and translate needs.
• Research and apply instructional design and AI-enabled practices to improve processes.
• Lead multiple concurrent initiatives with project management best practices.
• Measure learner skills and business impact; advise on gaps and strategies.
• Write and present recommendations and business reviews to executives.
• Mentor instructional design team members and coach on AI-enabled workflows.
• Evaluate external vendors to tailor materials to CDW needs.
