Job summary

Yum! Brands seeks an Instructional Design Manager to lead a small team of instructional designers while hands-on designing impactful learning solutions across the KFC system.

You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify performance gaps and build scalable training that drives readiness for product launches and process improvements. The role balances people leadership with hands-on design across multiple delivery modalities, shaping programs that improve restaurant operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, HR, Education, or related field.
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.
• 8+ years of instructional design, learning and development, or related field.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale learning programs and readiness strategies.
• Experience leading complex projects and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience creating learning solutions across multiple delivery modalities and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of instructional designers and directly design and deliver high-impact learning solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify performance needs and create scalable training programs.
• Drive readiness strategies that support key business initiatives like product launches and technology implementations.
• Balance people leadership, project leadership, and hands-on design to align with business priorities.
• Ensure learning solutions improve operational performance and business results.
