Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling seeks a Lead Installer to head installation projects, guide helpers, ensure quality, and complete jobs safely from start to finish.

You will demonstrate strong leadership, communicate professionally with customers and staff, and uphold our high standards for efficiency and customer satisfaction in Dayton, OH. This role offers growth, excellent benefits, and a teamwork-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend and reach overhead.
• Able to climb and work on ladders.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Able to braze and solder as needed.
• Drug testing, background checks and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and coworkers.
• Participate in all required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a professional, friendly work environment and show a positive attitude.
• Work hard, smart and efficiently.
• Follow the outline of company policies and procedures.
• Protect client floors with drop cloths and wear floor savers; keep work area neat.
• Re-check each installation with the Installation Excellence Form before leaving.
• Explain the system to the client when finished and ensure 100% satisfaction.
• Maintain safety on the job and while driving; ensure helpers work safely and neatly.
• Maintain production level as directed by management and annual plan.
• Perform full system change-outs as determined by the manager.
• Keep truck neat and clean inside and out.
• Adhere to all company policies and codes during installation jobs.
• Other duties as assigned.
