Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking a Lead Installer in Indiana to guide installation projects from start to finish. You will mentor helpers, ensure quality work, and uphold safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role emphasizes leadership, thoroughness, and a proactive approach to project completion across residential installs with a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend and reach overhead.
• Must be able to climb and work on ladders.
• Must be able to use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to braze and solder equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and coworkers.
• Participate in all required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Promote a professional, and friendly work environment.
• Follow the outline of company policies and procedures.
• Wear floor savers while in the client's home and protect floors with drop cloths.
• Re-check each aspect of an installation before leaving the job to prevent callbacks.
• Explain the system to the client when finished and ensure 100% satisfaction.
• Maintain safety on job sites and with the assistant installer.
• Keep trucks neat and clean at all times.
