Who We're Looking For:
The Lead Installer plays a critical role in the successful operation of Sunesta Awnings & Screens by leading field installations in the greater Central Florida area. This position involves hands-on installation work, coordination with internal teams to optimize scheduling, and ensuring that all projects meet the company's high standards for quality and safety. As a team leader, the Lead Installer is also responsible for guiding and mentoring installation crews to ensure consistent performance and overall company success.
What you'll do:
- Install Sunesta products such as awnings and screens in compliance with company specifications and safety guidelines. This may include solving installation challenges, obtaining technical measurements, and using basic hand tools.
- Travel as needed locally and regionally, via vehicle, to complete assigned installations at customer location(s).
- Ensures all materials and supplies are taken to respective job sites.
- Coordinate and schedule installations, ensuring timely execution and optimal efficiency.
- Conduct follow-ups with customers post-installation to confirm satisfaction and encourage feedback via company review platforms.
- Train and mentor installation team members-including employees and subcontractors-to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
- Monitor teams' daily attendance and ensure proper staffing levels are maintained per the installation schedule.
- Respond to customer inquiries and service calls, offering expert guidance and resolving concerns professionally and promptly.
- Perform thorough post-installation inspections to verify quality standards are met; document each job with completion paperwork and photographs and obtain final signatures from customers.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure installation schedules align with customer expectations and sales commitments.
- Escalate customer service issues to the appropriate departments for further resolution when necessary.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow established job site safety rules, company PPE policies, and OSHA guidelines.
- Keep each job site in a neat and orderly condition.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We need:Education/experience:
- Experience: At least 5 years of Installation/Construction or related experience
- Education: High School Diploma or related
- Valid Driver's License
