Job Title:

Lead Production Assembly Technician (Temp Contract)

Location:

Longwood, FL

Hours:

7 am - 3:30 pm

Job Summary:

This hands-on role supports the assembly team, trains staff, ensures high quality standards, and collaborates with the Production Manager to solve challenges and plan production.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor inventory levels and submit supply requests
  • Assist with production planning
  • Manage cycle count program
  • Perform assembly work as needed
  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Assemble and document engineering prototypes
  • Inspect materials and components for defects
  • Prepare components for shipment
  • Test panels and sub-assemblies during production
  • Maintain and use advanced shop tools
  • Provide improvement ideas to Production Manager
  • Complete required documentation
  • Keep production areas clean and organized
  • Follow ISO procedures and assembly instructions
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior lead or supervisory experience
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience with product assembly a plus

  • Ability to read and understand drawings and instructions
  • Strong attention to quality and detail
  • Reliable and punctual; able to work overtime
  • Safety-minded and follows company policies
