Job description

We are searching for an experienced LEAD Installation Technician at our Salt Lake City, UT facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary:
Manage team and workload for installing Hot and Cold Aisle containment in Mission Critical Environments. Responsible for the safety of the team onsite, along with the quality and timeline of installation. Domestic travel required weekly. Required availability is Sunday through Saturday depending on project requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for field team while onsite
2. Work with Project managers to understand specific project expectations
3. Coordinate travel with install techs who are assigned to project (PPE, flights, hotel, car rentals, etc.)
4. Submit required job documents to appropriate parties as needed
5. Communicate with various departments as required
6. Participate in weekly meetings
7. Draft gameplan of install and share plan with team onsite (daily targets)
8. Problem solves install issues as they arise
9. Communicate changes to: PM, Site Service Supervisor, Techs on the job
10. Drive Safety
11. Quality Check complete install
12. Manage expenses and expense reports
13. Train on various product installs with new hires and techs with little experience

Required Experience:

1. Experience leading installation crews on various sizes and scopes of projects
2. Experience training team members on new tasks
3. Use of basic hand tools and power tools
4. Previous construction experience helpful
5. Ability to use Microsoft Windows platform

Required Education:
Minimum High School Diploma: Associates or higher preferred.

1. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with customers, employees, and management
2. Able to measure and draw accurately
3. Basic construction understanding

5. Organized self-starter
