Job Overview

Gray's Mechanical LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Install Technician to join our HVAC team. You will lead residential and light commercial HVAC installations, ensure high-quality workmanship, and mentor junior technicians. Responsibilities Include

• Lead HVAC system installations (residential and light commercial).
• Interpret and apply building and HVAC codes.
• Supervise and mentor apprentices and junior technicians.
• Maintain documentation and communicate effectively with team and clients.
• Conduct start-ups and testing.
• Maintain a clean job site and vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Uphold safety standards and PPE use.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and participate in sales promotions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Illinois EPA Certification required.
• Technical school graduates preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, blueprints, troubleshooting.
• Ability to work at heights, lift 50+ lbs.
• Leadership skills, good communication, valid driver's license.
• Pass background and drug screening.
