AbbVie’s Austin-based Inside Sales team supports healthcare providers nationwide through a disciplined, education-driven approach. The leader will coach a high-energy group, develop performance standards, and drive quality and growth in alignment with brand objectives.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple programs while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and fostering teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience required; inside sales leadership preferred.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Ability to coach, train, and motivate staff effectively.
• Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment for issue escalation.
• Knowledge of medical device or pharmaceutical field.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Salesforce knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and coaching for Inside Sales Representatives.
• Ensure adherence to call center policies and schedules.
• Manage program support including coaching, training, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain Inside Sales work instructions and training documents.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Respond to issues and escalate options to resolve problems.
• Support program profitability and staffing decisions.
