Core & Main is seeking an Inside Sales Support professional to back the Outside Sales team and drive success across select accounts. You will guide the full sales process, mentor branch associates, and resolve complex customer-service and delivery issues.

You will generate leads, prepare quotes, manage purchase orders, and ensure accurate pricing and timely shipments. A technical background and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable
• Generally 5-7 years of experience in related area
• 5-7 years of inside sales experience preferred
• Experience with inventory sales preferred

Responsabilités

• Maintains the sales process from open to close for Outside Sales accounts; informs inside sales staff of activity
• Prospects for new sales opportunities; generates leads via outbound calls/email
• Mentors and assists in developing Inside Sales staff
• Assists branch staff with customer-service, pricing and delivery issues
• Creates purchase orders; follows up on orders, back orders and special orders to ensure shipment
• Researches and prepares sales orders and quotes for customers and staff; provides pricing and product availability information
• Provides pricing using pricing matrices and tables to maintain margins
• Performs estimating, take-off, proposals, and project management duties as needed

Formation

Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas

Bachelor's degree preferred
