Core & Main is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to facilitate the sales process, manage customer orders and quotations, and upsell opportunities across multiple channels. You will work at the sales counter and support outside sales as needed, leveraging strong product knowledge and pricing systems.

The role emphasizes building relationships with customers, handling complex pricing, and coordinating with warehouse and finance to ensure on-time delivery and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of inside sales experience with customers
• Experience with inventory sales/order systems
• Associate degree preferred
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with pricing matrices

Responsabilités

• Manage and facilitate the sales process from inquiry to order
• Track open sales orders and provide quality customer service
• Provide pricing using pricing matrix and related tables
• Procure and maintain inventory and monitor turns
• Ensure timely shipment and customer satisfaction
• Assist at the sales counter and upsell when appropriate
• Perform estimating, take-off, and proposal duties
• Support warehouse staff with order preparation when needed
