Job summary

ConMet’s Canton facility is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for the day shift in the Injection Molding Department. You will lead a results-driven team, ensuring production targets, safety, quality, and efficiency are achieved while coaching employees and fostering continuous growth.

The role requires hands-on leadership, adherence to ISO/IATF standards, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize schedules, reduce waste, and improve overall performance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related supervisory experience in an injection molding production environment or equivalent
• Technical knowledge of injection molding machines, mold die changes, machine setup, and quality troubleshooting
• Understanding of inventory control practices
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of ISO and IATF 16949 standards and systems
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong leadership skills including effective communication and performance management
• Experience in the Automotive sector is preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure shift team follows safety protocols and wears PPE
• Review daily molding schedule and generate prioritized work assignments
• Lead shift team to meet or exceed production and quality targets
• Confirm procedures, work instructions, and equipment are available and set up
• Provide training, coaching, and leadership for skill development
• Foster a positive employee experience from onboarding through development
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Prepare accurate daily attendance and end-of-shift reports
• Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency
