Job summary

AmbaFlex is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor to lead daily operations and ensure safe, efficient production of high-quality products. The role coordinates people, materials, machines, molds, and schedules while driving continuous improvement and ensuring quality and safety standards.

The supervisor reports to the Injection Mold & Maintenance Manager and is a key leader within the manufacturing team, responsible for driving performance and team development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of injection molding manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, tooling, materials, machines, and quality requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including spreadsheets, production reporting, ERP/MRP systems, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce safe work practices, PPE requirements, and LOTO procedures.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet customer and business requirements.
• Schedule and prioritize jobs, machine utilization, mold changeovers, and staffing needs.
• Monitor production performance and adjust resources as needed to meet production goals.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues and implement improvements.
• Maintain accurate production records, downtime reporting, scrap tracking, and labor reporting.
