Job summary

HARTING Americas seeks an Injection Molding Production Supervisor for 2nd or 3rd shift to oversee daily production schedules, balancing safety, quality, delivery and cost. You will supervise staff, drive 5S and lean practices, and coordinate with planning to meet capacity and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree preferred in business or engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ manufacturing leadership experience
• Knowledge of injection molding processes
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Self-motivated and proactive

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise daily activities for assigned employees
• Recruit, select, train, and discipline staff; develop personal growth opportunities
• Lead 5S, lean principles, quality and efficiency
• Develop a cross-functional workforce to meet customer requirements
• Coordinate with planning to meet schedules
• Assess capacity planning and staffing needs including overtime
• Monitor process flow, control points, and costs; implement improvements
• Track KPIs to meet company objectives
• Maintain product quality and standards
• Engage in ongoing professional development and benchmarking
