Job summary

Harting Americas, a subsidiary of Harting Technology Group, seeks a detail-oriented Injection Molding Production Supervisor (2nd or 3rd Shift) to support the operation and be responsible for the execution of daily production schedules by balancing the key elements of manufacturing: safety, quality, delivery and cost.

You will supervise staff, develop a cross-functional team, drive 5S, lean principles, and KPI tracking while coordinating with planning to meet customer requirements and maintain

Qualifications

• High school diploma; business/engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing leadership.
• Knowledge of Injection Molding processes.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise daily activities for assigned employees.
• Develop staffing plans, recruit, orient, train and discipline staff.
• Lead 5S, lean, quality and efficiency standards.
• Build a cross-functional team to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with planning to ensure schedules are met.
• Assess capacity, staffing, overtime, and resource needs.
• Monitor process steps, variables, and equipment; drive cost reductions.
• Track KPIs and maintain quality product standards.
