Job summary

Cambro is seeking a Process Tech II to own the injection molding processes in the assigned cell. You will ensure optimal daily performance, run efficiency and repeatability of molds and machinery.

Your role includes precise mold set-ups, high machine output, and proactive troubleshooting. You will collaborate with engineering, quality control, and scheduling to meet production goals while supporting safety and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3–4 years related experience and/or training.
• Advanced-level processing/troubleshooting skills to resolve root causes.
• Ability to develop, optimize, and document run parameters for molds and equipment.
• Coordinate activities within the Injection Molding department and with supporting groups.
• Ability to read safet y rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes, materials, molds, and machinery; ability to lead a group.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold setup, removal, installation, and robot/secondary equipment setup.
• Maintain maximum utilization and up-time for machinery in assigned area.
• Monitor running jobs for quality, cycle time, and part weight.
• Troubleshoot processing issues outside standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with Sr. Tech Supervisor, Engineering, Mold Shop, Scheduling and Quality Control.
• Lead mold changeovers and train others on setup/start-up procedures.
• Identify and implement procedures to improve safety, efficiency and profitability.
