Job summary

Cambro Manufacturing is seeking a Process Tech II for third shift in the injection molding department. You will own process performance, run efficiency, and mold/machinery repeatability in your assigned area, performing accurate mold set-ups and start-ups daily to maximize output.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, process parameter optimization, and training others on set-up procedures while collaborating with multiple departments to meet safety, quality and production goals.

Qualifications

• Advanced level processing/troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly identify and resolve root causes of processing/quality issues.
• Ability to develop, optimize and document run parameters for new or existing department molds, materials, auxiliary and secondary equipment.
• Coordinate activities with various positions and personnel in the Injection Molding department and supporting departments to accomplish goals.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to solve practical processing related problems where standardization may be limited.
• Understand and demonstrate Cambro company culture and core values.

Responsibilities

• Performs set-up and start-up responsibilities for molds, robotics and secondary equipment.
• Monitors machine output, cycle times and part quality to maximize run efficiency.
• Troubleshoots processing range issues and improves safety, efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborates with Sr. Tech Supervisor, Engineering, Mold Shop, Scheduling and Quality Control to test molds/materials.
• Performs mold changeovers and trains others on set-up/start-up procedures.
• Ensures department procedures and quality standards are followed and safety issues are reported.
