Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3–4 years related experience.
• Advanced level processing/troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve root causes of processing/quality issues.
• Ability to develop, optimize and document run parameters for new or existing molds, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to coordinate activities with various positions in the Injection Molding department and supporting departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold set-ups, start-ups, and changeovers for assigned area.
• Maintain high machine output and utilization; monitor cycle times, part quality, and weights.
• Troubleshoot processing issues and implement improvements to safety, efficiency, and profitability.
• Train others on set-up/start-up procedures and safe operation.
• Support cross-functional teams with testing and documentation of results.
