Job summary

The LEGO Group in Richmond, VA seeks a Production Shift Leader for Injection Molding on a 2nd shift. You will lead daily injection molding operations, drive safety, quality and continuous improvement, and coordinate cross-functional teams in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in manufacturing operations, strong knowledge of injection molding processes, and a track record of delivering operational excellence in automated settings.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, mold setup, process validation, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to drive operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with highly automated manufacturing systems, including robotics and digital platforms.
• Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team with accountability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with focus on safety, quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily injection molding operations to ensure safe, stable, and efficient production performance.
• Drive production performance through data-driven decision making and operational excellence.
• Coordinate activities across Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Automation, and Quality.
• Oversee mold setup and changeovers to align with production schedules and capacity requirements.
• Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with LEGO safety requirements and regulatory standards.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance production flow.
