Job summary

The LEGO Group in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced injection molding professional to optimize processes, analyze data, and lead troubleshooting for high-volume production. You will mentor technicians and collaborate across teams to drive standard methods, process governance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include supporting mold qualification and process validation, and helping implement new molds and production platforms while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma or equivalent combined with advanced molding experience.
• Strong knowledge of scientific molding and SPC methods.
• Experience with mold qualification, process validation, and high-volume production.

Responsibilities

• Optimize injection molding processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, cost, and OEE.
• Analyze process and manufacturing data to improve capability, stability, repeatability, cycle times, scrap, and uptime.
• Monitor production and implement process improvements to maintain optimal conditions and standardize best practices.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex molding issues involving molds, machines, materials, and automation.
• Support mold qualification, process validation, and launches; assist with new molds and production platforms.
