Job summary

The LEGO Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a Production Group Leader to drive injection molding operations, ensuring safe, high-quality production in a state-of-the-art facility. You will lead a dynamic team, coordinate across Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality, and transition to a 12-hour 2-2-3 first shift after ramp-up.

Preferred candidates hold a Manufacturing/Engineering degree or equivalent training with strong leadership and experience in automated environments.

Qualifications

• Degree or technical training in Manufacturing/Engineering fields.
• Experience in injection molding or highly automated manufacturing environments.
• Proven leadership of production teams in fast-paced settings.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, mold setup and troubleshooting.
• Experience with data-driven production improvements and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily injection molding operations for safe, stable production.
• Drive production performance through data-driven decisions and Lean practices.
• Coordinate Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Automation, and Quality teams.
• Oversee mold setup and changeovers to meet schedules and capacity.
• Promote safety-first culture in line with LEGO requirements and regs.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team with accountability and collaboration.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to boost efficiency.
