Job summary

LEGO Group in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Production Shift Leader for Injection Molding on the 2nd shift. You will lead daily operations, drive performance, and coordinate across maintenance, engineering, automation, and quality teams.

The role requires a strong background in injection molding, leadership, and a track record of continuous improvement in highly automated environments. The position is full-time on-site with a 12-hour shift schedule after ramp-up.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, mold setup, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to drive operational performance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily injection molding operations to ensure safe, stable, and efficient production.
• Drive production performance through data-driven decision making and operational excellence.
• Coordinate activities across Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Automation, and Quality.
• Oversee mold setup and changeovers to meet schedules and capacity.
• Promote a safety-first culture by adhering to LEGO safety requirements and standards.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team with accountability and collaboration.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to improve flow and efficiency.
